SCDNR First Annual Skeet Open‏

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) hosted the first annual Skeet Open at the Palmetto Shooting Complex in Edgefield, SC on December 12, 2015. This was the largest youth skeet shoot in South Carolina history with nearly 280 kids participating. Six shooters representing the Partridge Creek Young Guns traveled to Edgefield for the 50 target event. I have not received the official results but the preliminary results are that both Partridge Creek Young Guns teams won first place in their respective divisions and we also had three shooters place in the individual High Overall (HOA) events. Both teams qualified for the SCDNR State Skeet Championships in February, 2016.

Congratulations to all of the shooters (below) and a big thank you goes out to all of the coaches and the SCDNR for making this all possible. Great shooting!
